For three generations, our family has been cultivating Alphonso mangoes on the red lateritic soil of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. Our grandfather planted the first mango trees on our orchard over 60 years ago — trees that still bear the finest Hapus in the region today.

For decades, like most farmers, we sold our harvest to local traders at low prices — only to see the same mangoes rebranded and sold to customers at three or four times the price. Worse, customers were often being sold inferior mangoes from other regions labelled as "Ratnagiri Hapus".

That's when we decided to go direct. Mango Direct was born with a single mission: to connect mango lovers across India and the world directly with the farmers who grow the real thing — no middlemen, no markups, no fakes. Just pure, authentic Ratnagiri Alphonso, guaranteed.

🥭 1. Nature of Our Products

Please note that mangoes are fresh, perishable agricultural produce. Due to their nature:

• We do not accept physical returns of delivered mangoes.
• Complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with photo/video evidence.
• Claims raised after 24 hours of delivery cannot be processed as the condition of the fruit can no longer be verified.
• Natural variation in size, colour, and flavour intensity between individual mangoes is not considered a defect.

✅ 2. Valid Reasons for Refund or Replacement

We will issue a full refund or replacement in the following situations:

• 🍂 Mangoes arrived rotten, mouldy or spoilt upon delivery
• 💔 Mangoes arrived severely bruised or physically damaged due to packaging failure
• 📦 You received the wrong variety or wrong quantity
• 🚫 Order was never delivered and tracking confirms non-delivery
• 🌡️ Mangoes arrived in an unacceptable condition due to a packaging or handling failure on our end

❌ 3. Situations Not Eligible for Refund

The following situations are not eligible for a refund or replacement:

• Mangoes that have ripened or softened naturally after delivery (this is expected for fresh fruit)
• Minor cosmetic imperfections such as small marks, colour patches or skin blemishes that do not affect taste
• Complaints raised more than 24 hours after delivery
• Delivery failures due to incorrect address provided by the customer
• Delivery failures due to customer unavailability after 2 delivery attempts
• Dissatisfaction with natural taste variation between mango varieties or seasonal batches
• Orders where the customer changed their mind after dispatch

📋 4. How to Raise a Complaint

If you believe your order qualifies for a refund or replacement, please follow these steps:

1. Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.

3. Include your Order ID and clear photos or a short video showing the condition of the mangoes.
4. Our team will review your complaint and respond within 4–6 hours on business days.
5. If your claim is approved, we will offer a replacement or full refund — your choice.

💳 5. Refund Process

• Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.
• Refunds are credited to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet).
• You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.
• Bank processing times may vary — most refunds appear within 3–5 working days after initiation.
• For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer. Please provide your bank account details when raising the complaint.

🚫 6. Order Cancellations

• Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them, as harvesting begins shortly after confirmation.
• To cancel, contact us immediately at [email protected] or call us.
• Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched.
• If a cancellation is approved, a full refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
• For international orders, cancellations must be made before the order is packed for air freight. International cancellations after packing may incur a partial deduction to cover packaging costs.

🌍 7. International Orders

• Due to the complexity of international air freight, refunds for international orders are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
• If mangoes arrive damaged due to courier mishandling or packaging failure, we will offer a partial or full refund after reviewing evidence.
• Delays caused by customs clearance are outside our control and do not qualify for a refund.
• International shipping charges are non-refundable unless the entire order is confirmed lost or undelivered.

📦 1. Order Processing

At Mango Direct, we take freshness seriously. Unlike regular e-commerce, your mangoes are not sitting in a warehouse — they are harvested specifically for your order.

• Orders placed before 12:00 PM (noon) IST are processed the same day.
• Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be processed the following business day.
• Processing includes harvesting, quality grading, cleaning, and careful packaging.
• You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order.
• A dispatch notification with tracking details will be sent once your order ships.

🇮🇳 2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

We ship across India via BlueDart, one of India's most reliable courier networks, ensuring your mangoes are carefully packed and handled throughout transit.

Use our PIN code checker on the homepage or at checkout to confirm deliverability and estimated timeline for your specific location.

No hidden fees. The shipping charge (if any) is clearly displayed at checkout before you pay.

Important notes for international orders:

• Minimum order quantity is 3 dozen (36 mangoes).
• All international shipments are sent via air freight to ensure maximum freshness.
• Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days from dispatch (subject to customs clearance).
• International shipping charges vary by destination country and order size. Charges will be confirmed via email/WhatsApp before dispatch.
• All shipments are fully compliant with destination country import regulations.
• Special export-grade packaging is used for all international orders.
• Cash on Delivery is not available for international orders. Online payment only.

📦 5. Packaging

We take great care to ensure your mangoes arrive in perfect condition:

• Mangoes are individually cushioned and packed in ventilated, eco-friendly corrugated boxes.
• Each box is designed to allow air circulation and prevent bruising during transit.
• Mangoes are packed to withstand transit and stay fresh until they reach your door.
• International orders use special export-grade packaging that complies with destination country phytosanitary regulations.
• Gift orders come with premium decorative packaging. A personalised message card can be included on request.

🔍 6. Order Tracking

• Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and SMS.
• You can track your shipment directly on the BlueDart website (for domestic orders) using your tracking number.
• For international orders, tracking details will be shared via email once shipped.
• If you have not received tracking details within 24 hours of your order, please contact us at [email protected].

⚠️ 7. Delivery Failures & Re-attempts

• Our courier partner will attempt delivery up to 2 times if you are unavailable.
• Please ensure someone is available to receive the package as mangoes are perishable.
• If delivery fails after 2 attempts, the package will be held at the nearest BlueDart facility for 24 hours before being returned.
• Due to the perishable nature of mangoes, refunds cannot be issued for failed deliveries caused by recipient unavailability.
• Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are correct at the time of ordering.

🌦️ 8. Delays & Force Majeure

While we do everything in our power to deliver on time, delays may occasionally occur due to:

• Extreme weather conditions (heavy rainfall, cyclones, heat waves)
• Public holidays and regional strikes
• Customs delays (for international orders)
• Natural disasters or unforeseen events

In such cases, we will proactively inform you and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Mango Direct shall not be held liable for delays caused by such circumstances.
